Safely Arrived in Kyiv, Ukraine: Autocraft Group Ukraine Appeal

Autocraft Telford and ChipsAway Telford & Wolverhampton have joined forces to support a remarkable local hero, David Pryce, a man with cerebral palsy, on a mission to deliver crucial rehabilitation aid to those affected by the devastating war in Ukraine.

In a testament to his unwavering dedication, David embarked on an inspiring 18-day, 3,600-mile journey at the end of September, delivering a fleet of more than 50 trikes to individuals in desperate need of rehabilitation assistance. Our team jumped at the chance to help, and assisted by painting a once red trike, in Ukrainian military livery.

The Autocraft/ChipsAway trike was honored as the ‘mascot’ of the fleet, and found its safe haven in a care home in Borodyanka, Kyiv.

Overflowing with gratitude, David Pryce shared, "I could see the outcome in my head, but the outcome is better than I could have ever imagined."

Matthew Fielding of Autocraft Telford and ChipsAway Telford & Wolverhampton expressed pride and support, stating, "When I first heard of David's plans I knew we had to help. On behalf of the whole team at Autocraft and ChipsAway, we are so proud to be part of such a special, heartwarming project and would like to thank David for allowing us to be a part of his mission."
